Life has swept us up in its swirling, crashing waves, tossing us about in a sea of unpredictability. My camera lies, cold, alone, and with a slight layer of dust forming along with the thick layer of guilt piling onto my consciousness. My only means of recording Amelia's daily existence is with my phone these days. I can't decide if having a ton of iPhone videos and snapshots indicates a fantastic technological advancement in our lives or really the death of taking good, quality pictures with a real, bulky camera.
In any case, A's grown accustomed to seeing herself on my phone. She knows the drill. She's developed what I think is her survival method and a sure-fire way to get rid of that ever-present camera in my pocket. It's the Camera Face. It's not her real smile, see. She's not even two but has a fake smile.
Evidence.
And my personal favorite.
